In my early years home educating, I was quite a regular blogger. I found blogging a great way to really help my home schooling endeavours with my own children.
However, as the years went by, I found myself dedicating less and less time to it, as the demands of every day life threw themselves my way.
I really miss the motivation it used to give me, and so I would love to get back into it bi'ithnillah.
What is it that you want from a blog?
Do you want printable resources?
Do you want lesson plans?
Do you want ideas?
Do you want how tos?
Do you want home school support or coaching?
Do you want to be able to connect with more Muslim parents or home educators?
Whatever it is you feel you would benefit from, I would absolutely love to hear from you, so please don't be shy!
Let me know in the comments below and I will add it to my list of possibilities for my future planning inshaAllah.

And so, here I am, calling out to my readers, whether you are a home schooler or not (if you are a parent....you are always an educator!) to ask what do you want?

ReplyDeleteSalaam, I'm interested in connecting with other parents and reading how-to or lesson plans, especially for preschool and Kindergarten levels. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm a homeschool dad with 4 kids, and I very much enjoy your blog. Here are some of the things I like in homeschool blogs:
ReplyDeleteI love hearing stories of homeschooling successes (whether long-term success or just the day-to-day little things).
I love ideas for teaching history, and ideas for field trips.
I like advice on integrating faith and homeschooling (although as a Christian, I pick and choose from your advice :) )
I'm an attorney who works with homeschoolers in trouble, so just hearing stories about normal homeschooling is refreshing.
Assalamualaikum...
ReplyDeleteI think lesson plans and some homeschool support and coaching are great things you can offer, and I would find useful because as a home educator, I don't think I can teach well
I was looking for some lessons for my daughter to have Islamic lessons at home. But most of your pages(adhab and islamic studies) do not exist any more :( Can you pls put them again? Thank you for all your effort.
