I wanted something simple to use through-out Ramadan, that will help my family to pay attention to some of the benefits and practices of this month, whilst spending time together.
...And so from that thought, I've put together some simple little cards; one for each day of the month.
Each card shares a hadith relating to Ramadan that can be read as a family, pondered and discussed together, providing a nice short 5 minute daily activity inshaAllah.

How to use the daily Ramadan cards
You might like to pop them in a pretty envelope numbered for each day of the month, or for the kids who like the excitement, select at random.
Maybe you'd prefer to add a card to daily iftar bags Pinterest is full of, including a date and small sweet treat the children can look forward to opening when they break their fast in the evening.
Perhaps put up a ribbon across the wall and after each card is read, peg it up on the ribbon so that you build a cute wall display full of Ramadan ahadith and keep reminded about what you've learnt each day as the month goes on.
If you prefer not to print, you can open the file with the Kindle or Scribd apps on your tablet / iPad / mobile and use that to read a card day.
Many of you are way more creative than me, so use them in what ever way best suits your family, and if you are over on Instagram, tag me (@amuslimhomeschool) if you share any posts using the cards; I always love seeing the resources being used!
The cards have been designed A4 size, to allow you to choose how you want to print and use for your family.
I wanted smaller A6 cards so I adjusted my printer settings to allow 4 pages per sheet, which I laminated before cutting. (you'll have to forgive my poor picture quality....my camera phone is old school and is well in need of an update inshaAllah!)
Jazak Allahu khairan, sister. May Allah (Most High) make it a means for you to attain Jennah, and may He bless your family. Ameen.

ReplyDeleteOne suggestion I see that may be beneficial is the source of each individual Hadith be put on each card it pretains to instead of just the one.
